The characteristic of WPWEDKO is a two-stage universal reducer, which means its installation configuration is more flexible, with multiple fixed surfaces, usually without a base plate or with a connectable base plate, thus having stronger adaptability in various mechanical layouts. In contrast, the WPWEKO series is also a two-stage reducer, but its feature is a hollow output shaft design. This key feature of WPWEKO allows for through shaft installation, which simplifies assembly in applications where the output shaft is directly connected to another shaft without the need for additional couplings. The two types have similar core components and performance characteristics, such as using hardened worm gears and bronze worm gears, but their structural design and output shaft options can meet different installation and space limitations.
