The operating temperature of the smooth oil in the cycloid pin gear reducer should generally not exceed 90 degrees Celsius. Excessive temperature will alter the physical and chemical properties of the oil. For example, reducing the viscosity of the smooth oil reduces the bearing capacity of the smooth oil film, which may eventually lead to direct touch of the working tooth surface and the tooth surface to glue.

There are three ways for the cycloidal pinwheel reducer to dissipate heat, which are described in order:

     Natural cooling

     If the general cabinet can not meet the heat dissipation requirements, heat dissipation fins can be added outside the cabinet. The heat dissipation fins should be set so that the air can circulate naturally.

     2. Electric fan cooling

     If the natural cooling of the cabinet alone cannot meet the requirements, electric fans can be used.

     3. Water cooling

     The oil pool of the cycloid pin gear reducer is equipped with a serpentine water pipe. The serpentine water pipe is generally made of copper or brass. Cooling water is passed through the pipe.
