Reducer installation method
In the reducer family, planetary reducers are used in servo, stepping, DC and other transmission systems because of their small size, wide deceleration range, and high precision. Its function is to reduce the rotational speed, increase the torque and reduce the load/motor inertia ratio under the guarantee of precision transmission. In the past few years, when some users used the reducer, due to human factors such as illegal installation, the output shaft of the reducer was broken, causing the enterprise to suffer unnecessary losses. Therefore, in order to better help users make good use of the reducer, we will introduce to you in detail how to install the planetary reducer correctly.
Correct installation and use of reducer are important links to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the planetary reducer, please be sure to assemble and use carefully in strict accordance with the following installation and use related matters.

first step
Before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are in good condition, and strictly check whether the dimensions of each part connected to the motor and the reducer match. Here are the dimensions and matching tolerances of the positioning boss of the motor, the input shaft and the groove of the reducer.
second step
Unscrew the screw on the dustproof hole on the outer side of the reducer flange, adjust the clamping ring of the PCS system so that the side hole is aligned with the dustproof hole, insert the hexagon socket and tighten. After that, remove the motor shaft key.
third step
Connect the motor to the reducer naturally. When connecting, it must be ensured that the concentricity of the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor are consistent, and the outer flanges of the two are parallel. Inconsistent concentricity will cause the motor shaft to break or the reducer gear to wear. In addition, when installing, it is strictly forbidden to hit with a hammer to prevent the bearing or gear from being damaged by excessive axial force or radial force. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the tension bolts. Before installation, wipe the anti-rust oil on the motor input shaft, positioning boss and the connection parts of the reducer with gasoline or zinc-sodium water. Its purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the flexibility of operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear.
Before connecting the motor and the reducer, the keyway of the motor shaft should be perpendicular to the tightening bolt. In order to ensure the uniform force, first screw on the mounting bolts at any diagonal position, but do not tighten them, then screw on the other two diagonal mounting bolts, and finally tighten the four mounting bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the tension bolts. All tightening bolts need to be fixed and checked with a torque wrench according to the indicated fixed torque data. The correct installation between the reducer and the mechanical equipment is similar to the correct installation between the reducer and the drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the output shaft of the reducer and the shaft of the driven part is consistent.
1. The connection between the reducer and the working machine: The reducer is directly fitted on the main shaft of the working machine. When the reducer is running, the reaction torque acting on the body of the reducer is installed on the anti-torque bracket on the body of the reducer or by other method to balance. The machine is directly matched, and the other end is connected with the fixed bracket;
2. Installation of the anti-moment bracket: The anti-moment bracket should be installed on the side of the working machine that the reducer faces to reduce the bending moment attached to the working machine shaft. The shaft sleeve at the connection end of the anti-torque support and the fixed support uses an elastic body such as rubber to prevent deflection and absorb the generated torque fluctuation;
3. The installation relationship between the reducer and the working machine: In order to avoid the deflection of the main shaft of the working machine and the additional force on the bearing of the reducer, the distance between the reducer and the working machine should be as small as possible without affecting the normal work. , its value is 5-10mm.
